Staying Connected

Over the years, Osprey grants have been supporting Tech Time for Adults and Seniors classes run by the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy. From texting to digital photos, participants learn to use technology to stay connected. These classes have given many seniors the skills and confidence to be able to keep in touch with friends and family. During the pandemic, these skills became so important when virtual visits were the only option. One-on-one sessions even helped to solve immediate tech issues. "It has been a most interesting year and to have these courses offered via Zoom at a time when we are, and have been, rather isolated has been a double blessing."
