Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that was created in 2012 as a simple idea; a day that encourages people to do good. On our 25th year anniversary, we have been reflecting on the good people that believe in the power of generosity and kindness. We are grateful to everyone that has shared their memories, told stories of impact and forwarded us photos from the last 25 years of Osprey Community Foundation in action.

More than one hundred Friends of Osprey came together on November 27th and enjoyed stories of impact, heartfelt acknowledgments of past board directors and staff, and a look back at the foundation’s remarkable growth over the past quarter-century. The event was a warm and inspiring gathering that reflected the heart of this community and the individuals that have consistently supported it. The event highlighted the power of local philanthropy and volunteerism, and showcased meaningful projects that have been made possible by community generosity.

We invite you to join our Osprey family of friends, if you are feeling generous today on Giving Tuesday, and contribute to one of Osprey’s many funds that we hold for some of our community’s most beloved institutions and hardworking charities. Your gift will generate permanent funding, helping these organizations thrive for generations to come. Consider making a donation to our Matching Campaign to help us reach our target of raising $75K to invest $150K back into the community, or see our full list of funds that support recognized charities in our community.

This Giving Tuesday, Make a Local Impact.

"I wanted to do something local, such as helping seniors in our hospital here, and the fund I chose was a good fit with what I wanted to do. The donation is also a memorial to my wife; it fulfilled her wishes too."
