Community Prosperity Fund
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.
Osprey is one of over 50 local community foundations participating in the Community Prosperity Fund (CPF), in partnership with Vancouver Foundation, Community Foundations of Canada and the Government of British Columbia.
Thanks to a $25 million investment from the Government of B.C., the Community Prosperity Fund will work to advance poverty reduction and social inclusion by providing funding for the ongoing work of organizations across B.C., with funding decisions made by local community foundations.
Several key resources are now available at https://www.vancouverfoundation.ca/…/community…/, including the program timeline, Applicant Guide, and map of participating community foundations and online application portal.
Applications open today May 24th and close on June 24th.
Osprey has $210,000 available for granting. Grants will range up to $30,000 for projects/programs taking place in the Slocan Valley, Salmo Valley, North Kootenay Lake or Nelson and area. Larger requests will be considered for those applications that have a regional benefit and are/or working in collaboration with other local organizations addressing poverty reduction and social inclusion.
We encourage you to contact us ed@ospreycommunityfoundation.ca for more information.
