Suzy Hamilton Legacy Fund

Donations to the Suzy Hamilton Legacy Fund generate earnings that are awarded annually to a deserving West Kootenay female environmentalist.

The Fund was established at the Osprey Community Foundation in 2016 after the death of well-loved and dedicated West Kootenay environmental activist, journalist, founder of the West Kootenay EcoSociety and mentor to many, Suzy Hamilton.

Notes About Donations to This Fund

  • Unless you have checked the anonymous box, your name, contact details and donation value may be disclosed to the Fund’s advisor.
  • Donations will be applied towards the Fund’s charitable purpose, which may be subject to change.
  • The final authority on any distribution rests with Osprey Community Foundation.
  • As per the Fund’s terms – gifts may be applied on a flow through or permanent basis.
