Kerry Dyck Memorial Scholarship Fund
Annual scholarship awarded in memory of Kerry Dyck to an L.V. Rogers student who has shown commitment to excellence in the classroom and on the playing field, with a high preference to athletes who are dedicated to soccer.
History
Kerry Dyck was an L.V. Rogers graduate who excelled academically in high school and later at Simon Fraser University. He was passionate about his family, the community of Nelson and the sport of soccer. Throughout his life Kerry dedicated his time to playing, coaching and locally promoting the game he loved. He was the former president of the Nelson Soccer Association, passionate youth coach and active adult player. He passed away in early 2018 after a courageous battle against cancer at the age of 47.
