Donations to the Community Fund of North Kootenay Lake (CFNKLS)

Thank you for choosing to donate to CFNKLS. All CFNKLS funds are held within the Osprey Community Foundation for the benefit of the residents in the North Kootenay Lake area. You can make your donation online, by sending a cheque in the mail, or in person.


Click on the ‘Donate’ button directly below to pay by credit card using PayPal (you do not have to be registered with PayPal). Our staff will contact you to confirm which of CFNKLS’s funds you wish to support. You can also specify the fund in the “Special instructions to Osprey” box. You’ll receive your charitable tax receipt in the mail. Thank you!

Send an e-transfer to Please specify the fund and provide a contact name and address for receipting purposes in the Messages box.


Print off and fill in a Donations Form . When it asks where your donation should go, in the blank beside “Another Fund” write in the CFNKLS fund you wish to support (there’s a list of them on the right of the form), such as “CFNKLS General Community Fund.”

Send it with your cheque (make it out to “Osprey Community Foundation” and put the name of the CFNKLS Fund on the memo line) to:

A donation from the 2011 West Kootenay BC Seniors Games Legacy Fund

Drop into our Nelson office to deliver your cheque. To ensure that staff will be there to receive it, please phone (250) 352-3643 or email ED[at]ospreycommunityfoundation[dot]ca to arrange a time. The office is at Suite B8, 625 Front Street, Nelson – on the bottom floor of the corner red brick building at Front and Hall. Enter from Hall Street at the doorway closest to the back of the building and the railroad tracks.
